Riverside
The city of Riverside is in Riverside County, California, USA and the county seat. Known for its locality along side the Santa Ana River, it is the largest metropolis within the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario metropolitan location of Southern California, fourth biggest inland California city following Fresno, Sacramento, and Bakersfield, and is located roughly sixty miles east of the largest city in California, Los Angeles. Riverside is the 61st most populous city within the United States and 12th most heavily populated city in California. From the time of 2009, Riverside had an estimated resident population of 300,430. The city spans across 78 square miles.
Riverside was discoverd in the the first part of the latter part of the 19th century and is the place of birth of the California citrus trade as well as dwelling of the Mission Inn, the most important Mission Revival Model building in the United States. It is usually residence to the Riverside National Cemetery
Within Riverside are multiple colleges and universities which include: The city is also the base for the following private universities University of California, Riverside, Reed College, and Lewis & Clark College.
