Chico State University

Chico State University, also called CSU Chico, is an accredited four-year public university founded in 1887 located in Chico, California, which is in the Northeastern edge of Sacramento Valley, and 100 miles north of Sacramento. Their school mascot name is the "wildcats".

Chico State offers more than 100 undergraduate programs to get four-year bachelor's of art or science degrees. It has also has master's degrees classes. Most students select their majors in Business/Marketing: 16%, Social Sciences: 10%, Parks And Recreation: 8%, Visual and Performing Arts: 8%, Health Professions: 7%, and Liberal Arts: 7%.

Chico State University has a large number of Academic Programs but the majority are concentrated in science, business and management. Academic programs are provided on a semester basis for students from more than 50 countries to gain an associates degree or to acquire an academic certificate and transfer. Famous alumni include actress Teri Hatcher.
